5 speed, jumps out of 1st gear
my 5 speed diesel likes to jump out of 1st gear, particularly on over-run but sometimes whilst accelerating. Can someone point me in the right direction or better still, give me a full diagnostic and go straight to the fault

Re: Camper Heating??
I've got one of those cheap £10 heaters that takes a gas cartridge, works a treat AND if you put the kettle on as well you can sell the excess to the van next to you..........

Re: How to fit eyebrow?
I fitted a pair to my camper, I have only used one screw per eyebrow (top centre) I drilled out two clearance holes where the adjuster screws are, I have found that because the grill is a good fit around the eyebrows when it is re-fitted the single screw is more than sufficient to hold them in place.

Re: Anyone had issues with to much cab heat?
Sorry, the bag melted and due to the volume it needs to be a large vessel so unfortunately issues with postage, perhaps I could e-mail you some, particularly as I have some on a BOGOF at the moalbertramsbottom wrote:Can you bag some up and send it to me

Re: Anyone had issues with to much cab heat?
drop the spare wheel and you'll see the heater matrix valve the cable comes out of the clip and just needs popping back in its a 20 min job max easier if you have some one to move the cab controls whilst you look to see if everythings ok from the under side. :ok Thank you for this info, had a look ...

Anyone had issues with to much cab heat?
Just got my camper on the road after 6 months of prep, driving it the cab area gets quite warm, the heat controls set to cold yet warm air is blowing through, now if it were winter-great but I plan a little trip to warmer climes (well, France) and I don't want to cook before I get there.

Re: Side window - gap between inner and out skin.
This gap is quite normal, obtain some door seal rubber from the scrap yard and fit it so the seal part fills the gap, it finishes off the edge and solves your problem of having a gap

Just aquired an AFM engine but no ecu, need advice
Just gained myself an AFN engine but unfortunately no ECU.
Firstly, do I need to go down the route of finding an ECU or is it possible to simply change the fuel pump? (I have a mech pump of a N/A 1.9D) or, would a different pump be needed?
If I need an ECU, what car would I need one from?
