Gearbox Question
Can anyone tell me if there are any T25 Gearboxes that can NOT be fitted to a 1.9 IY D powered T25. So may different units around, I can see all the ratios and know what I want and don't want, just need to make sure they all fit physically.

Re: 1Y in but having problems starting
Ok, Ive tested all the glow plugs and there no good at all.
So replaced the glow plugs so i know there ok.
Problem now is ive got next no fuel coming through to the injector pipes.
Im guessing theres still air in the injector pump. Anyone got any suggestions on how to bleed the air out?

1Y in but having problems starting
Ok fitted a 1Y engine last weekend and wired and plumbed it in yesterday. It turned over but wouldn't start. There was no fuel getting through to the injection pump, so I assumed it was a bit air locked. we managed to get fuel though to the injector pump and after a bit of playing around it started ...

1Y dipstick
How is the dipstick tube held in to the 1Y engine. The old one in the CS engine pulled out very easily but the one in the 1Y engine is very tight. s it just pushed in or is there more to it than that? How have people got it out?

Service time
Its about time I serviced my van. I've left it far to long.
First Question: What do people recommend in the way of oil.
Its a 2.1 dj 1990. high mileage.
Second question: Apart from all the usual service bits is there anything I should do while im at it that may not be so obvious.
Thanks
Aid

Power Steering Question
Can anyone tell me the best way to change the Power steering fluid? It looks a funny colour and smells a bit funny to so I’d like to replace it but there’s no mention of a proper way to do this in my manual.

Is there anyone out there with a leisure battery that fits under the passenger seat. If so can you tell me what type it is or is there any numbers or codes on it. Local caravan bloke says he can probably get one for me but he needs a number or code as a starting point. And before you all say it i kn...

Gear linkage set up
just helped a friend fit a recon 5 speed box and recon all the gear linkage. All ok but having a bit of trouble setting up the linkage. We can get all gears just about so cant be far off but 2/3 are a bit iffy. Tried following the manual but it seemed miles out.
Any advice appreciated
