4 slidy things an 2 twidaly things what are they?

Can anyone tell me exactly what all the heater controls do. Id read the manual but its all in german so im a bit confused.

Its a 1990 2.1 multivan is got 4 slidy things an 2 twidaly things

the twidaly things id say are just front and rear fan controls

levers which move from side to side listed top nob to bottom!

1 lever to right opens dash top & side vents & to left closes
2 lever to right hot & to left cold
3 lever to left lower dash vents open & to right closes (by centre console)
4 lever opperates fresh air in roof vents move to the right air increases to the left air decreases
the nob on the same panel is for the dash heater (3 speed) the nob on the seperate panel opperates the blower on the rear heater (if applicable !dyou get that!? try http://www.andyvan.co.uk and ask for a instruction manual same useful info but with pics!!! great!!!
