Yes the pump from JK is J2006 for CU engine. The part of the body that has cracked and been pushed out is behind the operating lever which the pushrod contacts, not at the flange to engine. Yes I did tighten each bolt a bit at a time. Thanks for replies.

Received repro mechanical fuel pump for my 1981 2 lt CU engine from JK and noticed the outlet pipe is the same size/diameter as original pump but the inlet from tank is a bigger diameter. Does anyone know where I can get a repair kit for a mechanical petrol pump fitted to a 1981 2Lt air cooled CU engine. Also can anything else cause this type of problem (ie carbs) ?

Also rotor arm is not rev limit type. Do other T25 2Lt owners run theirs with rev limit or not ?

Checked for hydraulic tappet failure as advised. No movement on rocker arms. Rotated engine/both valves opening/closing.
