Re: Gas bottles
The regulator fitted on your cylinder may be an OPSO/UPSO type (Over Pressure Shut Off/ Under Pressure Shut Off) which will automatically turn off the gas if the pressure/flow coming out is too much e.g. a hose that is not connected to anything (its a safety feature incase a hose or pipe is cut or s...

Re: Fridge problems
Also check the gap between the electrode & burner at the rear of the fridge for dirt or it may be too big & the spark wont jump across, the sparking action lights the red light(flashing) & the heat from the flame complets the circuit stopping the sparking. (providing its still not lit!!!)

Re: RM182

Re: Leisure Gas Tanks
LPG is always stored as a liquid in a tank or cylinder, it only turns to gas/vapour when it is heated above its boiling point which is -42'c for propane (butane is -2'c which is why its not much use in the UK!) it 'boils' when released into the atmosphere (e.g. a gas tap is opened on the cooker etc)...

Sounds like the burner cap (the black/brown metal disc) is not positioned correctly on top of the burner skirt (the silver piece with the slots to let the gas out)

Alternator Squeal
When driving along at various engine speeds my alternator will start squealing for about 2-3 seconds then stop, during the squealing my engine sounds like its missing & loses power for the 2-3 seconds, it does this every 15 mins or so & there does not seem to be any sort of pattern or sequen...

Re: Fridge Repair
Replace the gas jet, my fridge would not work on gas but it would light just wouldnt get cold, i removed the jet & cleaned it (it looked clean!) but it was still the same so in the end i bought a jet of the bay (about £26 i think) & it worked a treat.
