Does a RM182, 3 way fridge need to be connected to 12v for it to work properly on gas?

Cleaned the jet and fridge is lighting but not getting cold. not sure it's the fact it needs 12v for something to work properly or if I didn't clean the jet properly.

It should work without 12v if on gas, either the jet needs another clean or it needs replacing (i kept cleaning my jet then took the plunge & just replaced the jet itself & it works great now) does the fridge work on 12v or mains? if not try removing the fridge & turning it upside down over night then re-fit & try again
