Clamping fuel line.

For when changing the fuel filter Haynes manual says clamp fuel line either side. Will mole (sp?) grips be okay for this or to rough?

I tried to check the weight in the Haynes manual but couldn't see it.

We've a MM half a mile away, will get it right and change them. Could do with being thinner but don't want instant weight loss! Cheers for the advice.

Will do. I saw the haynes manual seemed to have the filter underneath the van somewhere but just assumed ours was different place.

Not mechanic either but you would suspect the exhaust given whats happen. I feel your pain.

Just got a leisure battery today and also replumbed the gas for our van and not to surprised but the fridge doesn't work off either. :(

Will try Rob's tip though.

Ignoring the fridge though I did have a fun 3 hours tinkering with the van tonight.
