hi who did you get the new tent from, there are two sizes early and late

yes im changing the valve guides cos they are worn ,pressed out the old ones and the new ones just fall in . the head must of had over sized valve guides

has any one had the problem of oversize valve guides on a diesel head

yu will need a diesel tank . the starter gets in the way .i have one if needed

if you have a syncro the rear part is no good to you if you have the two bars on .

i bought a syncro for towing in germany. i now have 5 at the moment . what great fun they are

my son was at the show at the weekend in his split . long haired scruffy little git . was going to joine him but ended up with freands and got pissed

the only way to stop the rot is to sand blast

i have just replaced one on my westy syncro no problem at all and is now no rumbles

had a guy in hastings years ago reconed his v8 was the nuts . was pissed when i went past with my 2.7 porky crewcab

hi i ran a 2.7 in my crew cab in the early 80s . ibought a 1.6 that was only a year old . had loads of fun in it . the early engines are normaly quite cheep . undre £1000.00 . you have to make up a flywheel but its not rocket stuff , also need a oil tank behind rear wheel but it loads of fun but not...
