has any one had the problem of oversize valve guides on a diesel head :cry:

Oversized? as in 'worn out' allowing the valve to slop about?

yes im changing the valve guides cos they are worn ,pressed out the old ones and the new ones just fall in . the head must of had over sized valve guides

Hmmmm strange......Looks like you need to take the head to a motor engineering workshop where there will make something else fit for you. Guides are soft and easily machined so with the proper machinery this shouldn't be too much of a job.
