Re: How to remove cv from driveshaft?
So, any good methods for getting the hub nut off? I'm thinking of grinding it off and buying a new one

How to remove cv from driveshaft?
So I've got the cv joint off of the gearbox, with much swearing!
How do I now get the bugger off of the drive shaft. I've checked the wiki and it doesn't say

Re: will a audi 80 1.9 tdi engine fit a t 25 1.9 petrol
not sure what your chuckleing about. if the sentence "non turbo" makes you laugh then you need to get out more. a 1.9 na suits a t25 better because 1.9 tdi's do not like revving beyond 4500 RPM. 1.9 na suits the crap ratios on the t25 (they all have crap ratios) if the ratios were good Aid...

Re: will a audi 80 1.9 tdi engine fit a t 25 1.9 petrol
i had an Audi 80 tdi in my westy.
Apparently Audi engines are the best ones for conversions, I'm not sure why someone told me that years ago.
If you want my opinion, don't go tdi put a non tdi or even a non turbo 1.9 I think they drive nicer and the 1.9 n/a tolerates the crappy t25 gear ratios better.

Re: Porsche 944 into 1989 T25 - can this be done?
You will go through alot of pain and heartache, just to have the Kudo's of having a Porsche engine under the hood.
You will go faster with a subaru engine and it will be an easier install and with the benifit of hindsight it will probably end up cheaper.

Re: The value of an engine conversion
I have had a 1.9 tdi conversion and a Subaru twin turbo conversion. The 1.9 tdi cost a fortune and added sweet F.A value. If it was me I would forget the VW engines and go Subaru. The tdi only ever gave me 35-40 mpg. The Subaru accelarates like a hot hatch and still gives me low 20's (sometimes low...

Re: Subaru chargecooler install
I used a pace chargecooler from a ecort 1.6 rs turbo. I bodged it in with a 1 meter piece of silicon, which I cut to fit. I also bought some straight aluminium joiners and some 90 degree joiners. My pre rad lives in front of the radiator and I have a separate filler/header tank. It works well, charg...

Re: Help needed EJ25 into T3 install..Lambdas & oil capacity
Thats alot of questions.
I had issues with my scooby searching, it could possibly be a air hose related such as: vacuum to brake servo, manifold hose, air intake.
I have one lamba and no cats.
Do you have a speed signal sensor fitted?
British engine or Jap?

Digital dash now fitted-see pics
Hi I've not posted for a while, I have been working on this digital dash for a little while now: It reads speed, revs, Water temp, fuel, Battery, Clock, and will do 0-60 times £100 bargain http://i889.photobucket.com/albums/ac92/jimmypatch/Photo-0046_1.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);...

Re: golf gti of subaru?
Head to head against a 2.2 scoobie my 2l was the quicker van, gave better mpg and infinitely cheaper to install. If you are staring with a diesel van all you basically need is the engine with ECU and loom, thats about it really. Then price up full RJES conversion , then sort the sump etc etc etc. A...
