Help needed EJ25 into T3 install..Lambdas & oil capacity

Post by KarlT »

Hi.
Okay, started a 2001/2002 N/A EJ25 SOHC into a T3 Syncro last year. Got fed-up with it after head-gaskets were blown. Anyhow have now got alittle time/money/will-power to finish it.
Its in & running (poorly....searching) but it is the twin lambda setup. I've fitted first (one before cat) but as my old van doesn't need cat to be legal, where & how do I fit second lambda? Anyone fitted this engine?

Second, I've cut down sump & was thinking to fit a oil cooler (seen for £200) to give back some of the capacity, also like to fit some temp/pressure senders, again anyone done this? Where did you mount cooler? Any filling/airlock issues?

Cheers.

Thats alot of questions.
I had issues with my scooby searching, it could possibly be a air hose related such as: vacuum to brake servo, manifold hose, air intake.
I have one lamba and no cats.
Do you have a speed signal sensor fitted?

British engine or Jap?
