I’ve a DP code gearbox which 4th has gone, Im trying to source a replacement, I see an ABD code one for sale locally, anyone know is this would fit? Or anyone know suitable codes that fit an ‘81 petrol AC?

Got a slight leak from top of the engine, crank seal? Hardly use's a lot of oil but drips onto exhaust going around bends filling cab with smoke! Anyone just made a drip tray to fit above exhaust to deflect oil away from any hot bits?! - i'm aware the correct answer is changing oil seal, i'm after a...

....great comments thanks, cool, so you can buy a front double passenger seat with lap belt, that would do me, prob easier than mounting a lap belt on the little side seat in the rear

Hi My local village garage has looked at my 1981 2lt Aircooled T3 and suggested going to a specialist. Sayes heat shield missing and no compression in two cylinders, suggested a new engine :( Well past my level of competence, Any advice or recommendation of someone Hampshire/Dorest border? thanks Ade

Yes you were right, had to get a mechanic to do it in the end, took out a birds nest of old wiring which has down the trick

Been trying to fix my near side rear and front side lights which have stopped working.

First fuse on left (16a) blows as soon as I fit it, I presume it's an earth, where is the first place to look?
