I’ve a DP code gearbox which 4th has gone, Im trying to source a replacement, I see an ABD code one for sale locally, anyone know is this would fit? Or anyone know suitable codes that fit an ‘81 petrol AC?

DK is the common one for the 2 ltr Aircooled, ABD wont fit its for the later water cooled vans.

Do anyone know if the 2.0 & the 1.6 CT has the same coded gearbox? Found a complete at the junkyard the other day

FWIW I still have Bezza's 1980 box . All new shift bushes and links plus a CSP short shift kit make a BIG difference
