Re: T25 Rear Brake Regulator 1985 Transporter
Many thanks Simon (Brickwerks) for the images and excellent document - In the two Girling Brake Pressure regulators I have opened - my DG Transporter 1.9 1985 and from a spare I found in the scrapyard - they only had the pin through the intertia piston - with no spring The spring version may be a ea...

Re: T25 Rear Brake Regulator 1985 Transporter
If any one has a image of the spring set and / or ideally a spare I can buy please PM
I assume a light spring would go between the piston and ball ?
I could not find on any forum a internal image of the ball / piston set up only on different versions
thanks

Re: Time for a new Rad?
I have just replaced the radiator on my T25 DG engine with automatic gearbox - this was the original 62mm core thickness no longer available from VW or elsewhere. Fitted a GSF German Hella 42mm thick cored aluminum rad and is fine considering you have lost 20mm of thickness in the core matrix. Avoid...

Re: T25 Automatic 090 Gearbox reverse gear clunk
Some of the T25 /Vanagon forums suggest syringing in some CV grease into the CV joints - I will try this first before removal work You can carefully syringe some Moly grease with a thin stiif pipe and syringe under the rubber gaiter on the drive shafts carefully Surprised that you still have a clunk...

Re: Which oil is best for VW T25 Campervan please ?
Local VW garage here has been using Valvoline Durablend semi 10-40 and for our T25 1985 1.9 watercooled camper
GSF and Mill Auto only seem to sell the cheap oils which we avoid -
Used Fuchs dex 2 ATF and Fuch Hypoid 80-90 for diff
quality oil means longer life in my view
