KELLY BRAY STEERING is the company I was meaning - did one for me back in 2022. The company I used before in the West Midlands ceased trading during covid
I asked Baxter and he'd never found a long term repeatable reliable company hence not supplying them on exchange, apart from the problems of peeps not sending cores or cores being beyond repair
Just reviving this thread, as my power steering rack has developed a leak and filling the gator with fluid. Did you manage to get yours refurbished and by who?
We had our rack refurbished at Kiley & Clinton in Birmingham on the basis of multiple recommendations. I can’t comment on how it’s performed yet as we’re finally having it fitted to our van next week, but they were very professional to deal with.

K&C are a proper firm, been around since forever, I wouldn't hesitate to go there.
The thing that kills PAS racks is dirty working practices when renewing pumps and hoses. Grit gets into the system on the wrong aude of the filter i the reservoir and then scores the piston tube.
My recollection is that it was around £250-£300, but that was a couple of years back. No harm in giving them a call. They obviously require a unit to rebuild, and they’ll assess it thoroughly for suitability before they start.
