good thats a nice result then, wonder what she thought when the oil strted flying about :shock:
got a picky of the linkage problem bit

Number 31 on here keeps falling off:

the plastic seat in which it resides is badly worn, so the nylon ring that is 31 just comes off after a few gear changes. I've changed the nylon ring for a new one, no difference.

Inspected the brakes today as the nearside front was whistling constantly. Calliper is sticking, one badly worn pad and one "as new" pad on there, so replaced that, fitted a bigger, stronger hose clip to the oil line that popped off, took the seat covers off and washed them, and also fitted the Smiths heater we have had stashed away for a year and a half to the Moggy Minor and serviced it.

Quite a productive day, still no further on with the gearshift issue though! :lol:

how did this go it the long run. is still running or did it go bang :?:
beccause i'm thinking of doing the same :run

If I remember it went how we predicted - not longterm

There was an excuse about how the van/ engine setup was separated not related to the van
Divorce/ illness/ money ect cant remember exactly
