Leak
My T25 leaks from under the dash board on both sides and drips onto the carpet, I've had a look and it appears to be higher than any of the cable entry points on the front. I can only presume its the windscreen seal, anyone else had this?

Re: Leak
You've probably diagnosed correctly, don't forget to check the seals on the wipers, washers etc though. The screen seal has got to be the most likely culprit and if you remove it you may well find that some welding work is required on the surround. Good luck.

Re: Leak
Thought about them but the water drips near the doors so to far away, bus is a dry state import so shouldn't need any welding (I hope)

Re: Leak
It seeps through the windscreen seal mate then onto the front rail then from there it makes its own mind up where it ends up lol.
Live life Then you die! Thats no ETHOS but its TRUE!!
Re: Leak
Hope your right. Get it sorted soon though or you'll end up with rot for sure. btw, cut the old seal out to remove the screen, rather than trying to 'prise' the screen out. You need a new seal anyway!nathanwedge wrote:Thought about them but the water drips near the doors so to far away, bus is a dry state import so shouldn't need any welding (I hope)

Re: Leak
Either that or they'll use three tubes of roofing mastic
Better to get the job done once and properly or it'll be back, and ten times worse. Its relatively cheap to weld up to be honest and the only sure way to cure it long term.

Re: Leak
Aaaaarrrrrrrrgggggghhhhhh. Just read all the link and this is exactly the problem i have. However my Van was stripped and resprayed a short while ago before i bought it so i hoping its not rusty yet.
If i take the screen out and it is all solid underneath do i just replace the rubber and refit the window.
Also in the link i could not find anything on how to remove the windscreen.

Re: Leak
hope all turns out well , buy a GENUINE seal, then take a stnley knife and insert down the side of the glass on the out side and cut the web, that is the section that covers the outside bit of screen , takes a few seconds and when you have an end just keep pulling and assisting with the blade , you will be round inb a minute , not worth breaking a screen for a cheap seal well seal is £32 so relatively cheap and you shouldnt reuse them anyway
