Re: and Another Interior Refit
So it's been a while since my last update so here goes with the last month or so.... First off I had to remove glue and vinyl from the interior paintwork, rub it down and then fill some holes and smooth it down. http://i904.photobucket.com/albums/ac247/gauntlets1/IMG_3188.jpg http://i904.photobucket...

Re: Lady VW Owner needs recon engine, please help!
I had the expansion cap problem last year, quite like an overheating engine, lots of bubbling and boiling noises and coolant coming out of the overfill spout. I hope your problem is this as it only costs £12 for a new cap from JK. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Re: and Another Interior Refit
Got some more work done today. We fitted a new roof vent from Fiamma. Started by creating a wooden frame to make it more solid and then screwed the vent into place using a tube of Sikaflex along to way. We then hosed the roof down (after letting it dry!) to test for leaks. The roof vent is spot on b...

Re: and Another Interior Refit
Did some more work this weekend (last weekend was far too cold to be outside!). First up my new sink, :D http://i904.photobucket.com/albums/ac247/gauntlets1/IMG_3236.jpg We removed the stupid roof bars (if you want them by the way you can have them!), front skylight and the roof vent. All were leaky...

Good work Posler. I had dampness in my van but very little rot luckily! :D Like you i've got the silver bubblewrap stuff at the ready and just waiting for the snow to go. Do you have any ideas what you're going to use to cover the panels? I'm not sure whether to go for a faux suede or leather materi...

I'd love to know that Lloyd. I'd also quite like to know what her job was before her conversion. She had a 1.6d in when I got her so nothing fast!!

Re: and Another Interior Refit
Thanks for the comments guys. It took two of us about 4-5 hours to get to that stage and it's going to take a lot more to get it finished. Hope to be finished by March or April time. Aah makes sense about the back. It definitely had a second door though as that panel is blue! I hope you're not laugh...
