I had the expansion cap problem last year, quite like an overheating engine, lots of bubbling and boiling noises and coolant coming out of the overfill spout. I hope your problem is this as it only costs £12 for a new cap from JK. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Got some more work done today. We fitted a new roof vent from Fiamma. Started by creating a wooden frame to make it more solid and then screwed the vent into place using a tube of Sikaflex along to way. Thanks for the comments guys. It took two of us about 4-5 hours to get to that stage and it's going to take a lot more to get it finished. Hope to be finished by March or April time. Aah makes sense about the back. It definitely had a second door though as that panel is blue! I hope you're not laugh...
