Rear seatbelts?
Hi, I'm looking at buying a 1990 VW T25 caravelle that has since been converted with a camping interior, it now has a home made full size rock and roll bed and no seatbelts, my question is, if I'm looking to get seatbelts fitted in the back (I have someone who can do this) do I need to be looking sp...

I've got to replace my door seals and rubber foot steps in the cab area, what adhesive should I use? Is there any tricks or should it be easy??? I'm not very good at DIY!
Thanks in advance for any advice

Re: First sleep in Tink!
Oh!!! Right ok, but I'm sure then i'd get a really cold face! Is there supposed to be some rubber round the door or something to exclude the draught? Just wondered if that is missing or is it supposed to be like that?

Re: First sleep in Tink!
Well we did it, we had one night away last night and I was flipping freezing!! Although I do think that perhaps there is not supposed to be a gap where the sliding door shuts that lets a lot of cold air in and thats where my feet were (with socks on I might add) but freezing, it was still great fun ...

Re: 2.0L engine in original 1.6L van
Well folks the clutch has been done £240 later! and thats feels much better, but the gears are still a problem, and apparently it has now been determined that it has not got a 2.0l gearbox to go with the 2.0l engine so this is causing all sorts of problems, the garage also said that the gearshift ro...

2.0L engine in original 1.6L van
Hi, Anyone had any problems with having a 2.0L engine put into what was an original 1.6L van? This is what has been done to the van I have bought and it appears that the clutch is extremely stiff as a result, I've been told its something to do with the fact tht the originl engine would have had a cl...

Hello, I need a bit of advice from anyone with a viking roof, you are all going to think I'm mad but I have had the van for a couple of weeks now and have not yet attempted to get the roof up (have been distracted by lots of other problems to sort out with it! :( ) so I now want to have a go at gett...

Gas cooker! Help!
I have just purchased a secondhand Flavel B700 gas cooker for my van but have no idea what I'm supposed to do next!? I know I need to get an olive clip/connector and a length of hose before I can hook it up to a gas bottle, I wondered if anyone could give me any advice on whether I should be attempt...

Re: Discounts from caravaning clubs
I'm fairly new to camping in a campervan having previously preferred wild tent camping. My dream camping trip would probably involve hiking with a rucksack, eating meagre rations and staying in a tiny tent in the woods. I like to think of my Westfalia as an elaborate mobile basecamp from which to e...
