Gas cooker! Help!

Post by festivalgirl73 »

I have just purchased a secondhand Flavel B700 gas cooker for my van but have no idea what I'm supposed to do next!? I know I need to get an olive clip/connector and a length of hose before I can hook it up to a gas bottle, I wondered if anyone could give me any advice on whether I should be attempting this myself or whether I should get the help of a gas expert?! Its quite scary, I'm a bit clueless, also it looks as if I have vent on the side of the van in the right place but the previous owner has recovered the inside of the van and blocked it over, I presume I would need to uncover this?
Any help or advice appreciated, I'm in Bognor.
Cheers,
J x :ok

You will have to open up the vent for sure and i would also get professional to do your gas works as it is better being safe than sorry. You could try your local caravan dealership they will point you in the right direction.
