Re: Incredible body shop ( Cornwall )

When you say 48 hours, is that 8 days work on the van? I'm asking because I have to do a big job on mine which would be at least 5 days.

Thanks!

Re: A quote on a replacement engine.

My van has a Golf GTI AGG conversion. I can't recommend it enough. Conversion was performed by Oliver at T25Direct. The van runs absolutely amazing. I can go up to 100 mph or maybe more (I didn't want to go beyond that), and cruise at 70 or even 80 mph nicely. No slow down on hills. The AGG I think ...

Re: Serious rust on the roof advice

Wow, that is a lot of bad news that I don't want to believe / see :-( :-( :-( :-( I guess I'll have to think really careful on what to do. I'll might take it somewhere for a detailed look. I have a couple of contacts now . To be honest I've inspected the van on the panels and wheel arches and it doe...

Re: Serious rust on the roof advice

2k for the roof and what's the rest of the body like? Chances are the rest isn't great either! Could have a full resto project on your hands! It's all fun! Well actually the rest is quite ok. No any other serious rust around the body. I would love to have the space to work on it. I've installed the...

Did you fix it? I've got exactly the same problem on a joker and was wondering how much would that cost.

Cheers!

Re: Seats, replace? repair?

Oh my god! Those seats look absolutely amazing!

I'll have a try on all that. Thank you very much for the advice, exactly what I was looking for. I'll stick to originals and refurbish them

Seats, replace? repair?

Hi there! I have the original t25 seats from a joker westfalia. They are crap, super uncomfortable seats. On the other side they look really good on it. I saw some people use the saab but I don't really like how they look in the van so looking for alternatives. I'm quite tall as well, 6 foot 4 and I...

Upper Control Arm nut came off, what to do?

So the Upper Control Arm nut came off on Sunday. I heard a noise on the suspention and stopped straigh away. I called the AA, they took th wheel off, put the bolt in place (one side of the arm was on the air) and put a random nut on the other end. I'm basically talking about this bolt: http://www.co...

Re: OK I Have to improve my MPG, thoughts please :)

I made a AGG conversion and I'm between 23 and 25 mpg, depending road conditions, hills and speed. PM if you want more details!

Re: Slow and poor acceleration

I know is not cheap, but we decided to go for an engine conversion. We installed a 2.0 golf gti engine. We can cruise at 65 70mph effortless, we can keep that speed on hills and never went to max speed but once I reached 100 mph. Not recommended though... not a vehicle to drive at those speeds, but ...
