Re: Recon engine supplier

Cheers for that. After speaking to them both again today, I think I'm leaning towards The Engine Shop, but gonna think on it for a bit longer!

Recon engine supplier

Hi I'm looking to get a recon engine, after looking around the web, I think I've narrowed down it down to either Vege or The Engine Shop; both are coming in at very similar prices for what appear to be a similar level of build. I haven't found anything with recent comments about them, so I was looki...

Sandbach campsite

Hey Can anyone recommend a campsite near Sandbach (within 20 mins ideally), hoping to pop in and surprise an old friend of my Dad's. Struggling to find one, just need them to have shower facilities and take dogs (not in the shower!). I did find the Church House pub in Congleton, but they don't have ...

Re: Durdle Door/Lulworth

Stopped down at the Durdledoor site a couple of months ago, it was ok. Got in to the 'Seaview' bit which did have great views, but you will need to level up with plenty of blocks! It was good to get up just before dawn and wander down to the cliffs with dogs and just sit in the peace and quiet, taki...

Just a bit of confirmation please

Hello Looking at some alloys advertised as Merc ML and been reading the wiki pages and I think they should be ok with spacers, but not 100% convinced I've got it right. The wheels are 8J*17H2ET52 They're fitted with 255/60/17 tyres Prior to the 8J* is RONAL0944 (not sure if this is relevant) With th...

Re: Sword Beach [Hermanville sur Mer / Ouistreham

I was over that way on the motorbike last summer, a bit further down from Arnhem is Reichswald Forest War Cemetery. That to me was worth a visit, a real peaceful beautiful place where around 7,000-8,000 graves are really well looked after. Certainly was a thought provoking place.

Have a good trip

Re: Autosleeper thread

We've also had the front seats recovered - best money we've ever spent as they are now comfy and look pretty cool to: http://i772.photobucket.com/albums/yy4/alexjameslamb/IMG_0949.jpg Nice seats Alex. Where did you get them done? Would you mind saying if it was pricey? Funds permitting we're lookin...

Re: Autosleeper thread

Paul I only got my '89 last month, but it came with all the original manuals, including the Autosleeper manual / wiring diagram / heater manual, etc. I've got no means of getting them copied on to the 'puter, but if you pm me your address I'm happy to photocopy and post to ya. Just let me know which...
