Turns out the connection on the oil pressure sensor was loose causing the buzzer to go off.
Cleaned up the connection and secured it and no more buzzer !
Also, drained out the excess oil that I had in there, so hopefully all ok now.

Re: how can i tell if my oil pressure sender is faulty
Hi,
Did you get this issue sorted ?
I have exactly the same problem with my 1Y engine, so would be interested to know if replacing the high rev sender fixed the problem.
Regards,
Colm.

Oil light flashing and buzzer sounds when rev engine
Hi all, I have a 1Y engine, serviced it a couple months ago, put in new oil (10w40) and filter and it was running fine. My van hadn't been driven for couple weeks and Friday evening I drove it and it started fine as normal but as I revved it the oil light started flashing and the buzzer came on. ( e...

Re: Oil leak under engine
Thanks for the reply, the gearbox oil level check has been on my list since I bought the van earlier in the year but I better give it some priority now. If I can undo the filler and drain plugs I will change the gearbox oil and see how it goes, maybe the newer thicker oil will sort out this small le...

Oil leak under engine
Hi, I have a T25 with a 1.9 Diesel (1Y) engine fitted. The engine has developed an oil leak, some where around the front of the engine (between engine and gear box) at the flywheel. I have included a picture, can anyone tell me what is the likely cause of this oil leak, or what seal etc would need t...

Re: Novice Embarking on a T25 restoration requiring help
Hi Dudley, To remove the spare wheel carrier: Drop it down and remove spare wheel, at the rear of the carrier where it hinges, there are two small metal clips that need to be removed (one each side) on the ends of the carrier bars, then the carrier bars can be knocked out and the carrier will fall t...

Re: pipe on air cleaner
Thanks for the replies lads, think I have found a piece of pipe that will do the job. The part on Brickwerks ( http://www.brickwerks.co.uk/index.php/air-intake-pipe-diesel.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ) won't fit the 1.7D air filter housing. Had a look on ebay and yo...

Re: pipe on air cleaner
Thanks for that lloydy,
I missed that one on Brickwerks, it looks very similar to what I need.
I have emailed the Brickwerks lads, see if they think it will fit my van.

Re: pipe on air cleaner
Hi, I am wondering if you found a suitable flexible pipe ? I have the same problem, I am missing the link between the air filter housing and the snorkel pipe from the side vent, as can be seen in the picture. Anyone found a suitable flexi pipe for this ? The diameter would be about 2.5 inches / 65mm...
