far as I know the very late ('92) registered one-owner syncro panel is still sitting on a farm near me ... tried to get the owner to sell but wasnt interested last time I tried !

I know the syncro panel near me (1 owner van) was bought after the T4 had been launched so Im assuming its pretty late one, will try and find out more on VIN no ..

thanks for that all - gives me some ideas - looks like the AutoSleepers werent built on a Caravelle base then .. we have 3 children so going to try and get three lap belts in there ...

None in mine at the moment but has anyone got a pic of where theirs are mounted in the rear - even if its just lap belts ? Im assuming there must be mount points under the rear seat but cant find them - they were there on my old Caravelle ....

..this has to be the one that was in Camper and Commercial mag a few years ago ? really cant be many autosleepers built on a syncro base ... nice if I had the money !

when i spoke to him last year he was talking about hanging on to it and getting a new engine I think ...quite fancy it myself now !!

speaking of RHD Tristars - did anyone buy the one last year from the woodsman in Essex ?

Camper & Commercial seems to have got a thing for syncros recently- been something in the last 3 issues - last one had the prototype syncro article, latest issue has two articles about syncros in SA and Germany ...

Another here who's gone from an early bay to a syncro (I founded earlybay.com), cerainly a quite different proposition, and as most point out running a syncro can be expensive, but very much depends on what the van has had done to it in the past (ie has it had a new VC, sorted diff locks, etc.), but...
