VW took over the Tarpan factory in Poznan, Poland in 1993.
The Poznan factory produced some T4 and now T5 models, plus a load of other dull stuff.

Christ there is some odd ball cars going on there.

This is a Polish made engine. Castings are quite rough, but someone has been around with the Dremel at least.

Might be one of these that is in KarlT's Tristar then cuz there was a new engine fitted to it during its rebuild

drove thr Poznan on way back from Estonia in June, if the town is anything to go by we had best start driving Bongos.......................................

I know the syncro panel near me (1 owner van) was bought after the T4 had been launched so Im assuming its pretty late one, will try and find out more on VIN no ..
