crank shaft seal (flywheel end)

how easy is it to replace the crankshaft seal at the flywheel?

the engine is already out and sitting on a bench.

and how easy is it to get the new one in?

Hello,

A clue as to the engine would be good,

my crystal ball is in for a re polish.

If we are talking air-cooled, or wasserboxer the procedure is simple.

1. Have new, both seals. Crankcase and flywheel

2. Have a soft mallet.

3. Have a bicycle tyre iron, or suitably rounded off flat blade screwdriver.

And for the rest you'll have to wait, cos its suppertime

and to rectify my stupididty in not saying the engine type, ats a water cooled
