Diesel Zorst question.

Post by jed the spread »

So my back box has now been welded together so much now that it has cracked right across the whole thing, I need to get a new one. I was just looking who does them and noticed this on JK.

This is the one I have but it is listed as a none TD back box, http://www.justkampers.com/shop/silence ... 10336.html

And this is listed as a TD one but I dont have this, http://www.justkampers.com/shop/silence ... 13429.html

I have an AAZ fitted and it has always had a nice whistley sound to the exhaust and was wondering if it had a none TD back box fitted or is it just a cockup on the JK site? Also where are people getting there back boxes from these days?

Theres two on GSF for a TD. Not sure what the difference is.

The main difference between a non turbo and a turbo manifold is the pipe diameter - the non turbo is very narrow compared with the turbo version.

I cant see much difference in the JK photos - but i would take a visit to your local GSF if i were you (or buy baxters shiny one hmmmmmm)....

Thanks, mine has the welded on mounts like the picture in the none td so that must be the difference, and the manifold size would explain the td and none td. Those pictures threw me a little...

Cant afford the straight through Brickwerks one unfortunately, but thanks for the help fellas that has cleared that one up. Off to GSF in the morning

Jed , I was asking about straight thr boxes for a TD a while back.
I am pretty sure it was futbus who said that the last standard JX one he got from GSF had no baffles/was unrestricted/straight thr.
