I have heard a roumour that SUBI is going to release a flat 4 diesle soon.Not shure if it is true though.

They want to get the petrols right first, they are getting themselves a bad reputation.

Allegedly the diesel-do-nicely will be with us in 2008........ no rush on getting prepped for that conversion then.

I'll stick with the EJ22 for now, thanks.

Theres a crowd in the US that do Ford Zetec bolt in setups for T25s both syncro and 2wd. They always tickled my fancy but are a bit on the pricey side to say the least. They seem like a cracking engine though.

Russel here: i wouldnt go near the Fix Or Repair Daily there are so many better engines out there to use.

Seems to me most engines..even the popular ones have an achilles heel.... 1.9 DG with leaky head gaskets or a Subaru engine with a weak bottom end?

Zetec sounds like a good plan to me.....although im not sure what the torque figures are like.
