You need high temperature contact adhesive otherwise during hot weather the lining will come unstuck.

The high temp issue now explains why my new lining has dropped.

I used both carpet fitters and spray evostick. Where it went on to metal all is well but onto wood on the roof and it's bubbling. I doubt this is a heat issue as it would droop on the metal too. Looks like the carpet has actually stretched?

Maybe i should have sealed the wood with pva first? Any ideas for a lasting fix?

Thanks
