Intermittent wiper relay mod

Post by nrxx »

Just did the wiper mod after ages of not getting around to it. Excellent, I now have an intermittent wipe position with a variable delay and all for 10mins work and a £3 relay (VW relay #99). If you haven't bothered do yourself a favour. It's got to be one of the easiest things you can do to improve your T25! Check the Wiki and get modding (of course you may not WANT to?).

Nick
PS, even got to clean the washer switch contacts and get that working again for 20secs work! Brill.

Apologies if I'm being dense but what number relay and which position on the relay board? I checked the Wiki and it doesn't seem to be as straightforward as plug it in (although fairly simple anyway).

Intermittant wipers on the bullet fuse relays is a little more complicated.....not just a case of changing a relay - actually have to do some wiring as it requires an additional wire.
