service

Post by polanski »

Hi, I want to do my own service on my 1986 T25 1.9 petrol. Could anyone suggest a particular make of these bits that are known to work well?

Spark plugs and distance
Air filter
Oil and how much
Oil filter
Air filter
New leads

also, I looked in the distributer cap and it all looks quite worn (the brass bits) do you have to buy a new one or does it come with a new set of leads?

Thanks,

Robbie

Brickwerks sell what you need and you won't be disappointed with the quality of his stuff.
Link to Brickwerks webshop

The postage would be cheaper if you get the oil locally though. You don't have to use expensive oil as long as you change it frequently (see wiki for more info), so gsf, Wilkinson, Asda etc sell oil that'll do the job:

Dizzy cap doesn't come with the leads, you have to buy it separately, check out Brickwerks page for the ignition system.
