brake caliper seal perished, is it a DIY job to replace?
Just replaced my front brake pads and noticed one of the seals has perished.
Is replacing the seal a job that can be done without to much hastle? The caliper is in good condition and both sides move ok.
If it's a nightmare any idea on how much it should cost to get replaced?

Thanks in advance.

Hi toomanytoys
Looks in good condition, The seal is still there it's just split. I gave it a quick squirt with WD40 and made sure it traveled all the way in and out.

caliper kits
They told me the kit fits either - and they were right, as I did a refurb on examples of both types.
