where have you got them positioned? if they are underneath where the original horn is fitted then they have probably got water in them and are fooked and corroded.

I found this out last Sunday, reminds me, I need to move the remaining horn (I removed 2 of the 3 horns) up near the radiator

But have you seen the price? FOR A HORN!! As Billy Connoly might say, followed by expletives.
In my shed I still have a set of 1980's Dukes Of Hazzard air horns. The compressor has seized but I will get round to it one day. Leaping bridges, messin' with Boss Hogg etc.

Jason is right!!!

These horns are not legal for MOT purposes.

I just swap my old horn back for MOT.Takes 10 seconds.

Can I use your MOT Tester then. How much more can you get away with???

Regards :tsk

no jason is wrong.if its a two tone horn (and an aarroogggghh horn is)an mot tester cannot fail it.if its a multi tone horn it will fail.you should appeal his decision if he fails it on a two tone...

Sorry Rob,

Not casting dispersions.I can only go on my personal experiences.

Have to admit there are usually more pressing issues come MOT time so I have never bothered to query this with the tester!!! May do next time and risk winding him up!!

Regards
