internittent wipers?
is it easy to instal a relay if you have blade fuses as on my early devon?

If it's an early van then just fitting the relay will do nothing as there is no wiring to connect the relay to, there was a site somewhere which explained in detail how to wire up the relay for an early model, it took me about two hours, it involves running cable from the switch under the steering column to wherever you want to locate the relay (i put mine near to the others due to needing an earth/live feed) i'm sure someone will post the link soon. Well worth doing though.
