T25 4 Speed Gear lever snapped

Post by Lyndsay »

Hi Guys, I couldn't find another thread to do with this so have started a new one.
Today while stopped at traffic lights I went to move into first and my gear lever sheared off near the base under the rubber gator. Am ordering a new one and can't see it being too difficult to fit but was looking for any advice to make this job a little easier rather than guess work as I can't find any "How To's" online.

Cheers :)
Lyndsay

It's a common fault and really easy to change. When you order it it's worth changing the bushes and onion bearing (ball joint) on it too. A simple cheap job that transforms your gear change.
