Hi all
im just wondering if it is possible to remove the two breather boxes from my bus or at least replace them with something smaller?

When I first had my van, while chasing rust etc I took mine off to look behind . I broke one of the connectors. So I just cap-ed the tubes and left the tanks off. Diesel does not pressurise like petrol does. Also my fuel cap does not hold pressure so it's fine.

Why did VW put them there if you don't need them.?

Because they are German and a little bit 'anal' about things? Remember old Austins that just breathed petrol all, over your drive. That was the British solution!!!!
