Looks like the 2 letter codes have been removed by over-enthusiastic use of a flap wheel. They arent stamped as heavily as the date codes that remain

Its a shame, is there a way to identify it from what is left?

Engage each gear, affix a pointer to the input shaft and turn both cv flanges at the same speed for 10 turns. Count the number of revs on the input shaft.
This way you can calculate each final drive gear ratio.
Might need a bit of guesswork to find the final drive, based on 3rd which is about a 0.95?

Count the teeth on the crown wheel and pinion will give you the final drive ratio. Count the number of input shaft turns to the output pinion will give you the gear ratios, use the gearbox tables on the brickyard will give the box code.
