Started my van today after a 2wk rest and the I'll buzzer went off, checked oil and started again no buzzer. Is this a recognised thing or should I be worried, cos I am!

Re: oil buzzer
The buzzer is controlled by a switch on the engine.
As you didn't say which engine, I can't tell you where it is.
Suffice to say after 30 years the contacts might need cleaning or the switch needs replacing.
