Post by lodgey62 »

Started my van today after a 2wk rest and the I'll buzzer went off, checked oil and started again no buzzer. Is this a recognised thing or should I be worried, cos I am!

The buzzer is controlled by a switch on the engine.
As you didn't say which engine, I can't tell you where it is.

Suffice to say after 30 years the contacts might need cleaning or the switch needs replacing.

Cheers Kev, its a 1.9 petrol of 1989 vintage,I've looked on wiki and will give the terminals a clean and hope it's nothing more than that.
