Battery draining

For ages I've had a problem with the battery draining. If I don't run it for more than 4 days the battery won't start it. Battery has been tested and is fairly new anyway. Alternator is delivering good voltage. I've put fully charged battery in van and run the engine then left it with battery disconnected for 10 days. Reconnected and it went first time. Anyone had this problem? Someone suggested starter motor solenoid but I'm not clever about electrics. I presume it has to be something with a permanent live causing the drain? Any help much appreciated. Thanks. Terry

Could be radio memory, depending on if there is one/what one it is/how it is wired.

Thanks for your replies. Probably didn't phrase my post too well. I'm well past becoming an auto spark OG. Just wondered if there were common components that could cause this so I can give auto electrician a likely place to start looking. It's had a new DAB/stereo fitted professionally so not likely to be that?

Oldiebut Goodie has given you the answer. Could be anything. You'll need to do the above test. Small meter is cheap enough. You don;t need to be an auto electrician to do that test.

 Thank you very much. I am hoping it is not actually a battery drain and rather a duff battery (you have to live in hope).
