Temp Gauge.

Post by royndenise369 »

Hi all, Just fitted a later engine and water system to my 84 Joker. How do I wire the single temp gauge wire to the new double pin one in the housing?
Many thanks.

one pin goes to earth, check if either pin have continuity with the main body of the sender using a multimeter, the other one goes to the single lead. If neither pin seems to be connected to the main body then wire one to earth the other to the single wire.

Hi, Many thanks. I had wired it that way but thought I must be wrong. Just done some tracing and found the earth broken inside the rubber on plug.
Once again Cheers. :D
