YET ANOTHER LOWERING QUESTION

Post by Gary C »

Hi everybody, this is the first time i've asked a question (only joined a little while ago).I've had my 83 caravelle (now converted to a camper) for a about two years now and i'm thinking of lowering it.Either by 45mm or 60mm.What i want to know is would the original steel wheels rub on the inner wheel arch or would they be ok,or would i have to put spacers on the rear.
Many thanks
Gary c

you'll be able to got down 60mm with steel wheels no problem! you'll only need spacers and stuff if you start with the allloy wheels! enjoy

No offence but JK kits are a bit on the pants side.
They use Boge Springs and standard piston oil shocks.
