On the first pic that is the aux. water pump. Needed on the 1.6 turbodiesel to cool down the oil. (circulates the water through the oil cooler when the water reach 102 °C).
In the left black box there are two relays, the bigger switches the glowplugs, the smaller swiches the aux. water pump.
The right black box is some aftermarket thing, not factory. Maybe relay for some alarm or immobiliser.

fog light switch should be on the right side of the dash.
