AAz Turbo Vacuum hose
I have just got a van with an AAZ engine fitted. I have discovered a vacuum hose that comes from the diapragm below the turbo but isnt attached anywhere else at the other end. Any clues as to where it should go?

thanks for that. However I already have a pipe attached to the LDA which connects to the manifold. Doe the 2 pipes tee in together?

Is it attached to the bolt in the center of the turbo actuator? syncro JX turbo has a vented screw for wading...could be one of those.

Re: AAz Turbo Vacuum hose
what I have got are 2 rubber pipes coming from the turbo vacuum actuator. The one closest to the actuator arm is already connected back to the turbo body itself. The other pipe (rubber hose covered with material) is long enough to reach the rocker cover area but currently isnt connected to anything. I cant see any 'free' places that it could connect to. I've checked out a haynes manual relating to the AAZ engine and its little help - basically advises you to make a note of where the pipes go should you need to remove the turbo!
