Rover V8 ?

Post by trickydicky »

So 4.2 V8 into a T25!
Is it a stupid idea :?:
I have a Range Rover waiting for something to happen and a 86' D.G. waiting for something more to happen do you reackon it's worth combining the two :?: or is it a conversion that happens.
It's nothing a great deal of time and money can't fix

Do ya reackon, I'm worried about the fuel consumption though :!:
Also if I turn the aircon on and the radio I'm worried the Rangey will stop.

All Range Rovers are 'waiting for something to happen'.

They're waiting for the next thing to break.

It's not unusual

If you're going to the effort of putting another engine in then you might as well choose something that actually fits. There's a fair number of them.

The best place for Range Rovers is with Land Rover afficionados - they are prepared to give these peculiar vehicles the time and attention they need to be kept on the road (well they say that about Syncro owners  )

There's a T2 in the readers rides section of Retro Cars with a Rover V8 in it, so I reckon one would fit a T25/T3 too. :D
