Futbus Daves' recent experiences with an AAZ make me wonder what actually passes for reliable, petrol or diesel...

My Multivan is fitted with a Flux Capacitor but even it acts up funny in a thunder storm ......

A big plus for petrol is that when you run out, you pour more in and it starts again.

a good plus for diesel is that's unlikely to turn your van into a inferno

Errrrrmmmm, .....maybe not......but still, i'm fairly sure it wouldn't have stopped Dave's pulley falling off.

I think something's fallen off inside the tank as the last time I ran it down to zero - to drop the tank - there was still 3 gallons left in it. Came as a bit of a surprise when I pulled the hose off

Probably why I keep my distance from oil-burners these days...

When my 1.6D ran out of fuel I just put more in and it started no problems.

Did Dave change the pulley and the bolt before he fitted it? I was advised to do this as apparently there was a problem, but changing for the newer design alleviates this.
