Ian...I thought that Kunifer was copper/Nickol?
The slightly cheaper all copper is more maluable than the copper/nickol kunifer but there in lies the problem, copper is perhaps to soft, as for
for longevity I think whichever you use will be the one and only time you will be doing the job, both last a very long time.

Isn't it a Ku Copper Ni Nickel Fer Iron alloy ?

I just bought the stuff, helped the fitter make them up and fitted them. :lol:

Start with 10 of each of the male and female nuts (they're only pence) and once you're underway you'll see how many parts you need to replace and how many are saveable/re-usable ... although I'd replace the lot and be done with it once and for all.

You will only use male connections unless you intend to join any pipes mid length (not recommended) so two males connections per pipe section that you intend to replace.

cheers guys :) im probably gonna just buy a bag of say 20 males as i want to spend all this weekend getting it done hopefully that'll be enough ;)
