Does anyone have any experience/ views about importing older engines from the Spanish/ Lithuanian vendors on ebay?

No experience; But I wonder what the import duty and VAT would be.

Just had an email back from Desguaces, the Spanish one, and they're not willing to identify the source vehicle so you're entirely reliant on their word for how many miles its done.

Not sure how much they sell for. But AW will rebuild your engine and it will be as good as new.
