Steering

Post by JewelD »

Steering wheel question... For T25's coming with power steering from factory (Westfalia) was there a small steering wheel included, or was it the standard VW one? Asking as have a 1987 club joker with a large VW wheel but a 'spare' smaller one has been found in the storage....Image

Factory P/S wheels are smaller than standard. But that isn't one.

The factory power steering wheels are still quite large by modern standards, in order that the indicator and wiper stalks remained broadly in the right place.
They're 45cm 42cm in diameter,, whereas the non PAS wheels are a few inches bigger.

I recently paid this guy for a bumper for my T25 and he messed me around and the bumper never arrived.

He also failed to refund the payment(150) and is ghosting me now after weeks of chasing .

Avoid, terrible member and a disgrace to the club.

Admins - he should be booted out.

I will send him a PM. Hopefully, I will get a reply. If not, I will have to consider banning him.

Thanks Rob,

I’ve sent him pm’s and several emails to his Gmail account over the last 3 weeks but no bumper and next no contact.

I was initial worried if something had happened to him, but by now at week 3 i have given up and realised id been had.

More than happy to evidence the full position if you need to see the emails.

Kind regards

150 quid for just a rear chrome bumper! lt must have been in tip top condition. I'm considering selling a pair for not a lot more.

I have sent him two PMs, and he has read them but not replied. I will give him until tomorrow and will ban him from the forum if nothing changes. It won't get you your money back. But it will stop this from happening to any of our members in future.
