The bidding has started, not sure why someone would bid instead of the buy it now, as it could cost way more!

Just got to wait until Tuesday to see where things are with the bidding!

Now that is the news you want here about the controller. Propex know best, and l stand corrected. They are pretty helpful.

I didn't notice a BIN on this item. Is BIN removed once bits start rolling?

Do you have wiring from controller to heater?

Once the bidding started the BIN went. It was BIN £9.95 + around £17 delivery!

As for the wiring, it's all there, just waiting for the heater.

Forgot to ai, Propex also sent a PDF of the insulation process.

Ok, what ever. I'm not trying to give or take incorrect information.

It's coming across that I might have offended you some how?

I smell a rat. Seller listed the buyer put incorrect amount for final winning bid. Yet they had placed bids throughout duration, according to bid history.

I think the seller has an involvement in this. But then a re-listed BIN at 125 quid throws that out. Why not contact second highest bidder and offer to re-list as a Bin based on their final bid?

I would give it a miss and go diesel.

That offering it to the next highest bidder is a rip-off, you can only offer it to them at their maximum bid that is under the defaulting bid not at their bid that topped the 3rd highest bid. This can be a very hefty increase on what it would have sold for without that defaulting bid. Ebay have never sorted this out and has been like this for years - the last 20 that I know of!

Or just buy a new one....at that price and I'm assuming quite an old model, not 100% guaranteed to work it's well over priced.

I have been looking at a Propex Whale...to install under the van, saving valuable cupboard space in my Westie.....then had a chat with a customer of mine who swears by the Diesel heaters.....now I'm back to square one and can't decide again...

Feel the same about the price, it went high above my maximum and for an unknown unit of around 20 years old, the current BIN is way too much. There's a fully recon unit with everything you need for £399 or make an offer ( again at that price, might as well buy a new heat source.

I'm only sticking with the propex as all the fittings are already in place (gas pipes etc) so a nice and easy job to fit!

Would have only wanted to pay around £80 for that one including P&P
